Aloha Bangladesh organised its 10th National Level Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Competition 2017 in Bangladesh on February 24 at Basundhara Convention City in Capital.
The day-long competition was participated by 1633 from 300 schools from across Bangladesh and 44 students from Aloha Tripura, India. Aloha Bangladesh has been organising such competition in Bangladesh since 2008.
The objective of this competition was to test the speed and accuracy of the children. The participants were asked to solve 70 complicated sums within 5 minutes and majority of the students could do that with 100 percent accuracy within the stipulated time.
The award-giving ceremony in the afternoon where selected students showed demos of their skills. Presidents of Aloha International Mr. Loh Mun Sung handed over awards to the winners.
Mr. Saiful Karim, Chairman of Aloha Bangladesh chaired the program. Mr. Ali Haider Chowdhury, Managing Director of Aloha Bangladesh and Mr. Shamsuddin Tipu were present at the ceremony.
Aloha Bangladesh is the first company to bring internationally recognised Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Program to Bangladesh from Malaysia for total brain development of the children aged between 4 to 14 years.
It helps children build better concentration, self-confidence, sharper observation, keener listening skill, enhance memory retention power, improved analytical skill, better creative and imaginative skill.
